THE PETREL STATION TOUR REPORT
OVER 80,000 SEABIRDS on the latest spring season pelagic seabird tour out to The Petrel Station, offshore from Tutukaka (in Northland, New Zealand).
In total we recorded 21 seabird species, and around 83,500 stunning seabirds! We also had 2 Sei Whale which is the first time we've recorded these huge whales. See the full species list below. Conditions on the day were mostly fine, with 5-15 knot winds and a 1.4m swell.
