THE PETREL STATION TOUR REPORT
Had a great day out at The Petrel Station on the latest pelagic seabird tour offshore from Tutukaka (in Northland, New Zealand). Conditions on the day were mostly fine, with a good steady SW wind (10 knots) and a small swell.
This tour coincided with the 'Global Big Day' event and during the tour we saw 20 different seabird species, and enjoyed watching just over 1,750 stunning seabirds in total. See the full tour list below.
